Education Apostolate

Following the exhortation of our Founder, SABS gives great importance to the education and character formation of women. We work towards the spiritual and temporal betterment of the families, villages and even nations through the education of girls. In our schools we create an atmosphere conducive to share the Eucharistic spirit and to help the evangelization process.
Our boarding school & day schools, we find it as a fertile soil to sow the seeds of Eucharistic devotion through Eucharistic apostolate. The children in the boarding – Mafinga Bethel School, Kowak and Madunga School actively participate in the first Friday night vigil even to the extent of sitting many hours before the Blessed Sacrament. They also participate in the 13 hours adoration conducted on every Saturdays. In their prayer groups they make intercessory prayers and conduct Holy Hour once in a week. They were encouraged to study Bible verses and at the end of the month competition are held and the winners were awarded with small prizes. They are also given books of saints to read and it actually acts as a seed for their vocation to Religious life. They also participate in the Rosary procession conducted around the school premises. Adoration is also conducted for the teaching and non-teaching staff. Annual retreat is also conducted for the students. This year we also offered counseling services in the school.
Academic Performance
All our schools have performed very well in  National examinations. Mafinga Bethel Secondary school secured the 3rd position in the Country level in the Form IV National examination and St. Paul’s Maua won trophy for the best performed schools in the region and in the diocese.
