Holy Family Children’s Home Kimumu
The Holy Family Children’s Home is owned by Adoration Congregation. It is for Orphan Children and also for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The home is for 100 children. The home takes care of both girls and boys. At present we have 76 children ranging from 3 days to 14 years. Around 39 of them are school-going Children. Out of this only 9 children are sponsored.
The Holy Family Children’s Home is more than just a shelter for orphans.It is a place where love, hope and opportunity thrive. Here, every child is embraced with care and kindness ensuring they grow up surrounded by the warmth of a true family. We believe that every child deserves the chance to dream and succeed no matter their background.

Nyumbani Children’s Home, Nairobi, Kenya
Nyumbani is the house for orphan children infected with HIV/AIDS. There are 96 children in the home and more than 3000 children in the different slums of Nairobi, under our care in a community- based project-the Leatoto Program. Our sisters are dedicated and hardworking and are considered as the backbone of Nyumbani Children’s Home
PRISON MINISTRY
On the occasion of Feast of Corpus Christy Sisters from Sion Provincial House visited Langata Women’s Prison, joined with Life sentenced Prisoners for the Holy Eucharistic Celebration and shared meal with them. We have planned with the Prison Administration to continue our prison ministry by conducting Adoration, Counselling and other services as before Corona Pandemic.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
- In connection with the Death Anniversary of Our Founder and Mother Chantal, We invited fifty Mothers from Kibera Slum , we had meal together with them. Nangina community distributed 50 food kit for fifty families.
- Sisters from Nerkwo community conducted Seminar for Mothers of project (AVSI) supported students and trained them on the process of Baking Cakes along with other inspirational classes.
